The Political Middle is a group for all of us who are tired of having our opinions on political, social and economic matters dismissed because one or more of opinions are not to the liking of the gods of the far right or the far left.

The Political Middle is not bound by party lines; it is open to Democrats and Republicans as well as Independents. You can be a Democrat who is tired of having the party's left wing tell you who is or is not a "real" Democrat or you can be Republican who is tired of having the party's right wing tell you who and who is not a "real" Republican. or you can be an Independent who is tired of both presenting us with their choices and expecting you to be content with having to choose between them. If you fall into any of these groups you belong in the Political Middle.

The Political Middle is for those who believe "Politics is the Art of Compromise" and are willing to try to find the middle ground on issues that confront us so we may at least achieve progress on those points on which we can agree.
